What's one thing Mara NEVER gets to touch or play with? Eggs!!
I found this egg cracking activity on Pinterest. We have been washing and saving egg shells. The 18 eggs we needed for homemade ice cream this weekend really helped out! We saved shells that were just missing the tops and also shell halves.
I filled the shells with homemade finger paint.
And hot glued the halves on top.
She was really pumped about this activity!
I didn't see many smiles though because she was very focused on throwing the eggs and then running to see what color came splatting out!

She decided to just break that one with her hands.
Because it looked like so much fun, I had to throw a couple myself. The preparation was a little time consuming but well worth the fun we had.
