So I feel like I just wrote her 6 month post a couple days ago. Time is getting away from me. I'm sure summer will only speed this problem up even more.
She is sitting up unassisted for the most part now. She doesn't get too far on her tummy yet, but she does get up on all fours and rock. She will cover some distance rolling, but she hasn't quite figured out how to purposely roll to get something she wants. And that's ok with me for now!
Fortunately, so far we have another good eater on our hands. I have always said it's unbelievable how well the older two eat, so there's no way we could be blessed with 3 good, healthy eaters. We haven't found anything she won't eat. Unfortunately, we have another bottomless pit. I really don't think she understands when she's full. Our pediatrician suggests to feed her until she's full and refuses food. I'm pretty sure 12 cubes of food is too much for one meal, but I'm pretty sure that's what she'd eat if I'd let her.
My favorite part of the infant stage is watching personality develop. Each day a little piece of Maisy is unwrapped. And how blessed I feel to be able to see this unravel right before my eyes.
This little face just warms my heart. Weird I know. When she gets irritated, she can only keep this face for seconds because it quickly turns into a smile with a couple years running down her cheeks. Her irritations are quickly diminished when someone talks to her or holds her hand. Precious.
