State Fair

We decided to head to the state fair in the evening for a couple of hours, but a couple of hours ended up turning into several hours.  We didn't even cover that much ground, but we saw animals, ate some yummy food, and danced our pants off.
Our kids love animals.  They visit Grandpa and Grandma's farm quite often, but they are still very interested in farm animals like they've never seen them before.
Grandpa and Grandma had been at the fair all day, but of course they stayed to hang out with the kids that night.

We stayed late enough that concerts were starting, so we hit up a country one.  The kids loved it.  Not that I was surprised.  They both share my love of live music.  Lance used to tolerate it, but I think he is secretly starting to enjoy.  Or maybe he had finally realized he has no other choice since his kids also like it.  We were trying to get a group picture, but Mara wasn't going to take her eyes off the stage and Micah wanted down to dance.
I think we stayed for at least an hour, and the kids didn't sit for more than 30 seconds at a time.
These two sure have Grandpa wrapped around their finger!  It takes Grandma quite a bit to get Grandpa to his feet and onto the dance floor!

    100 % true
I can't get him to dance for nothing. But he really wasn't on a dance floor...but to Micah and Mara's standards HE WAS DANCIN!
