Colorado - Mountains

Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures from our white water rafting trip.  I really wish I had a picture of Lance falling out of the raft and me saving him!  He owes me -  for saving him and for not taking a picture instead of pulling him back in!  We had a lot of fun and definitely want to do it again sometime.
There was a bear milling around the garbage can one evening, but we missed it!

Beautiful.  Amazing.  In awe of His creation.

The only thing Lance wanted to see the entire trip was a Big Horn.  This was as close as he got.  And he was driving, and I took this was a zoom lens, so it wasn't even as great as it looks in this picture.
This was cool though, and we were close!

We met the sunrise one morning and headed out to hike up a mountain.  We hiked about 6 miles, but it sure seemed  much farther!  Next time we need hiking boots and sticks.  The next morning was pretty rough.  Haven't been that sore in a long time.

Lance's favorite spot on our hike.  It was calm and peaceful.

The mountains melt like wax before the LORD, before the Lord of all the earth.  Psalm 97:5
