Enjoy Today Momma

I read this about a week ago on Pinterest, and it's been stuck in my head ever since:

You will never have this day again with your children.
Today is a gift.
Breathe and notice.
Study their little faces and feet.
Relish the charms of the present.
Enjoy today momma, it will be gone before you know it.

Amazing how a few sentences have impacted my week.

You will never have this day again with your children.
I've shed a few tears in the last week when I've reflected on this.  A day goes so fast.  And I, as a Momma, have so much influence on my kids in the waking hours of one single day.  How honored I am to be their Momma, and how thankful I am to be with them all day, every day.
Today is a gift.
Every good and perfect gift is from above.  James 1:17
Thank you Lord for my two good and perfect gifts.
Breathe and notice.
The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.  Job 33:4
Thank you Lord for breathing life into our family.
Study their little faces and feet.

Relish the charms of the present.
So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.  Matthew 6:34
For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:
a time to be born, and a time to die;
a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
a time to kill, and a time to heal;
a time to break down, and a time to build up;
a time to weep, and a time to laugh;
a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
a time to search and a time to give up;
a time to keep and a time to throw away;
a time to tear and a time to mend;
a time to be silent and a time to speak;
a time to love and a time to hate;
a time for war and a time for peace.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

Enjoy today Momma, it will be gone before you know it.

  1. Enjoy today MOMMA for it will be gone before you know it!

    BUT then if you are as lucky as Your Daddy and I are, you will have GRANDBABIES! They don't replace "MY" babies but fulfill that void! They are the next best thing to having your own BABIES!
    Dear God
    THANK YOU for all I have been given.
