1. grandparents babysitting for the weekend - We met them for dinner to get our kids back. When Mara realized dinner was over and we were going to be leaving, she jumped into Grandma's lap and started crying. Grandpa felt bad and bought her an ice cream cone and told her that she could eat the ice cream cone, but she had to stop crying and had to go back home with Mom and Dad. I love that my kids love their "Papa" and "Gama" so much, but geesh!
2. Miracle Grow potting soil - I used to buy the cheap stuff, but this stuff is amazing! Healthier plants and definitely don't have to water as much.
3. Fareway - It's small and has a limited selection but oh so convenient!
4. Mara's latest phrase to Micah- "Come on, boy!"
5. date weekend with friends to a Chris Tomlin concert - It's so uplifting to come together with thousands of people from all denominations for an amazing night of praise and worship.
I really do think Lance was having a much better time than what his face is showing :)
7. my kids' daddy
He never seems irritated when one of the littles wants to tag-along. Even when it's not convenient or slows him down.
He takes advantage of every minute with our kids when he's home. This morning he ate breakfast in the living room next to Mara while she was playing the iPad. I didn't hear much conversation, but I know they were both enjoying the shoulder-to-shoulder time together.
