I had mentioned Warm Chocolate Melting Cake in a previous post. This was the dessert I had every night on our cruise. It's a chocolate lover's delight. Crusty edges with a warm, gooey center! Mmmmmm!!!
Our friends who went on the cruise with us actually scored the recipe! This may have been my highlight of the cruise.
I finally got around to making it. Mara also has a sweet tooth, so we pretty much finished this entire dish ourselves!
Here's the recipe if you're also addicted to chocolate:
- 8 oz semisweet chocolate
- 1 cup butter
- 7 eggs
- 6 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Melt chocolate and butter; cool 10 minutes.
In separate bowl, mix four eggs with sugar. Whisk.
Add flour and whisk.
Add remaining three eggs.
Add egg mixture to chocolate mixture.
Pour in individual ramekins.
Bake about 15-20 minutes.
