Mara was pretty excited about Lance's birthday. We had a lot of fun decorating with streamers and balloons, wrapping his presents, hiding Reese's Peanut Butter Cups around the living room and making his birthday pie.
Lance loves Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, so we made him a
Frozen Reese's Peanut Butter Pie. We were working on counting the Oreos as we put them into the blender, but Mara struggled to get to 5. Her counting sounded like this: One, two, CRUNCH...Mmmm.
We had never been to Jethro's in Waukee, so my dad took us there for Lance's birthday. It was delicious! We will definitely be going back sometime.
