We started celebrating the 4th of July a week early. We headed to my mom's hometown for their western days celebration.
Waiting for the parade to start. Leave it to the boys to find some dirt to play in. Leave it to the only girl to get the dirtiest.
This girl doesn't win the award for collecting the most candy, but she does win the award for eating the most candy during the parade!
After he got this bag of popcorn, he didn't care about the parade or the candy!
And then off to the rodeo!
And fireworks afterwards!
Math lesson of the day: red and blue M&M patterns!
And then off to my hometown community for another parade.
Grandpa and Grandma were in the parade!
And a picnic and play time with cousins.

After we got rested up, we headed to the carnival.
First taste of cotton candy. The bag was empty on the way home.
We ended the night eating popcorn under the fireworks.
